Situated in the heart of the seaside village of Dalkey, The Guinea Pig Restaurant has been dedicated to providing a timeless atmosphere and consistent good food since 1957.

Our award winning menus offer something for everyone. While we are best known for our locally caught lobster and crab and our fresh fish brought in straight from the Atlantic, we also prepare meat, chicken & duck dishes all sourced from Irish farms and we have an exciting and extensive Vegetarian menu.

We are fully licensed and stock a large selection of fine wines, beers, liqueurs and spirits.

Since taking over the Guinea Pig in 1978, the Stewart Family's philosophy has been simple: provide the best quality food in a traditional dining atmosphere.
